1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing or using Kyndbook, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Kyndbook Is

Kyndbook is an AI-powered learning platform that helps students organise and understand their educational materials. It turns uploaded course content into Study Spaces with summaries, flashcards, practice questions, explanations, audio lessons, personalized study plans and exam-readiness tracking, and it includes an AI study assistant, Bliss AI.

Kyndbook is a study aid. It supports your learning; it does not replace your lectures, your course materials or your own work.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Your Content

You may upload course materials, documents, notes, links, prompts and other educational content (“Your Content”).

• You keep ownership of Your Content. Kyndbook does not claim ownership of your course materials.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights or permission needed to upload and use the material.
• You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process, extract text from, analyse, index and display Your Content in order to provide the features you request.
• You may delete your materials and Study Spaces at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Use Kyndbook for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content you do not have permission to use.
• Attempt to compromise, overload or disrupt the platform.
• Circumvent security, access controls, plan limits or usage limits.
• Abuse our APIs or use automated systems in a way that harms the service or other users.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation.
• Upload or distribute malware or other harmful content.
• Abuse payment systems or attempt fraudulent transactions.

7. Academic Integrity

Kyndbook exists to help you study, understand and prepare. You remain responsible for complying with the academic-integrity rules of your school, university, lecturers, examination bodies and any other institution you belong to, including rules about the use of AI tools. Do not use Kyndbook to submit work as your own where that is not permitted.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

• Prices for paid plans are shown before you purchase.
• Payments are processed by Paystack. By completing a purchase you authorise the payment shown at checkout.
• Access to paid features begins once payment is confirmed and lasts for the period shown for that plan.
• If a payment fails, is reversed or cannot be verified, access to paid features may be limited or removed.
• Cancellations and refunds are handled in line with the refund policy applicable to your purchase and with the law that applies to you. Contact us if you believe a charge is incorrect.

9. Intellectual Property

• Kyndbook's software, interface, design, branding, logos, Bliss AI naming and original platform content belong to Libit Innovations or its licensors.
• You keep the rights to content you own, as described in section 4.
• You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or otherwise exploit the Kyndbook platform without our permission, except where the law allows it.

10. Service Availability

We work to keep Kyndbook reliable and fast, including offline and low-data modes for reviewing content you have already generated. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and features may change, be added or be withdrawn as the platform develops.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where there is a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, fraud or payment abuse, a security threat, unlawful activity, or use that harms other users or the platform. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first. You may stop using Kyndbook and ask us to delete your account at any time.

12. Disclaimers

Kyndbook is an educational support tool provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee exam results, grades, academic success, the accuracy or completeness of every AI-generated response, or uninterrupted service. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Libit Innovations is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost profits, lost academic opportunity or examination outcomes arising from your use of Kyndbook. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Kyndbook in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Kyndbook develops or as legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and, where changes are material, communicate them appropriately. Where the law permits, continuing to use Kyndbook after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

Kyndbook is operated from Ghana, and these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, with the courts of Ghana having jurisdiction, except where the law of your own country of residence gives you rights that cannot be set aside by agreement.
